Gliding almost silently through the winter landscape covered in snow - you can experience that when cross-country skiing in San Vigilio. For example, discover the Tamersc Valley into the untouched and snow-covered nature park Fanes-Sennes-Braies on your ski boards. At the edge of the town of San Vigilio and just a few minutes from the Alpine Chalet Sauter, the 24-kilometre-long ski run, which make the heart of cross-country athletes beat a bit faster - no matter whether it is skating or traditional. Both beginners and advanced skiers will find optimum conditions on the perfectly prepared slopes.
You can quickly speed away on two runners on the well-prepared tobogganing slopes all around San Vigilio. At the "Rina" sports centre, for example, the 4-kilometre-long toboggan slope "Munt da Rina" beckons. Those who want to forego the winter hike before the tobogganing fun is well taken care of on the 450-metre tobogganing track "Cianross", which can be accessed via the lift of the same name. Tip! On Sundays, Tuesday and Thursdays, the lift and slope are open for night tobogganers from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.!
